Library Self Service
Adilam offers a variety of options for Self Service. Arcus Self Service can be supplied on our modern custom designed kiosks or as a software as a service (SaaS) solution.
Arcus Self Service is intuitive, fast and simple for the end user. Arcus allows libraries to choose the style and functionality they wish to use:
- Issue and/or Return
- Books can be automatically returned or issued
- A list of items can be displayed and the end user, when ready, selects to issue or return the items
- Receipts can be any combination of print, email, or SMS
- User preferences are remembered for future transactions and can be updated by the user
- Renewals
- AV Unlocking with One Time cases
- Payment Options for EFTPOS or onscreen payment portals

The advantage of Arcus being a cloud based solution is configurations for all stations are managed via the cloud and updates are automated and require no library staff support. Interface changes, promotional banners, receipt wording, SIP details and all other aspects of the interface are cloud based so any changes are instantly applied to all Arcus stations without the need to touch individual stations.
As Arcus is a browser based RFID solution libraries have the choice of running Self Service on their own hardware with or without RFID or we can supply one of our modern kiosks or custom installations.
The Arcus interface is Multi-lingual and currently available in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Greek, and Malay. New languages are easily included as required.
